Hi! About me paragraphs are hard to write because I'm not sure how to tell you everything about me in a few short sentences, but I'll try. I have always been a creative soul and made it my mission in life to love my job. I'm proud of myself for making that dream a reality! When I'm not sipping a coffee, eating pastries or cuddling with my cat Bo, I'm usually at the dance studio teaching the teen/senior team ballet, jazz, contemporary and lyrical. My bed is my safe haven from the world, so after a long wedding day, I spend a day to myself relaxing and watching my favorite crime shows. I graduated from Iowa State with a degree in criminal justice studies because the criminal justice system fascinates me. I wanted to be part of the justice system so that I could help people navigate a difficult system and be there on their worst days. While wearing pantsuits and working in the court ended up being the wrong path for me, wearing pantsuits to shoot weddings happens to be my thing. I pride myself in my fashion sense and love of styling. After years of experimenting in different kinds of photography, I've found that fashion/editorial photography is my absolute favorite thing to shoot! It combines my love of fashion and body movement/posing. I strive to give my clients a unique experience. Developing relationships with my clients that last a lifetime alongside the beautiful photos, will always be the goal. I can't wait to meet you!
