I started a blog back in 2018 called Red Lips & Honey. I wanted to brand myself without using my given name, so I spent weeks trying to figure out a brand name that felt unique to me. The name popped into my head as I was putting on my  red lipstick before heading out to dinner with friends. Red lips have always been a signature look for me because I love how bold and beautiful they are. My name "Melissa" literally means honeybee in Greek, so I figured why not combine the two to create my unique brand. In so many words, my brand "Red Lips & Honey" just represents who I am, bold as red lips and sweet as honey.
